I saw that. They are the same color as the golden rainbow trout. I wish he'd have saved it and used it for brood stock.

That's the first thing I thought too, he should've saved it for brood stock.
Also, having easy to see (and eat) crappie fry would help control their tendency to overpopulate, one would think?
