had issues with it last year and had someone come out and treat with Sonar - it worked well.
Now I notice it is showing up around my pond edge again so I ordered a bottle of it. I am reading it needs to be applied with a sprayer but to not spray it on top of the water but to put the sprayer head under the water. Is that the best way to apply? Thanks

I used Sonar last year and it's still good.
Here's what I did; Dyed the pond over winter which helped reduce the Biomass that needed to be treated. Sonar treatment early spring, before growth kicked in. Sonar was added at the edge, with aeration running for mixing. Added a second smaller treatment two weeks later, just for good measure. Now, I would only do spot treatments as needed.
