We have a 25,000 gal pond that sits just above a 1 million gal pond. These ponds are fed by rain water run off. We are looking to run a pump from the lower larger pond to the higher elevation smaller pond to help create circulation. Thoughts, concerns, suggestions. I'm all ears!

Welcome to the forums Pat! You've come to the right place.
What is your goal for creating this circulation? aeration, aesthetics, water level control, etc.
What size pump to you envision using? (how many gallons per hour/minute?)
Off the cuff, I would say that recirculating the water will be no big deal depending... Too much flow, and erosion could be expedited. Too little and there would be no real benefit.
Let us know what your desired results are and it will be easier to discuss.
Fish on!, Noel

Could make for a cool waterfall feature between the ponds. I think we will need some pics of this and all the info QA is asking for.
