I am not really sure where to post this, so apologies in advance if this is the wrong location.

What started as an off-line conversation with Snipe concerning YP ended up growing into a complete stocking strategy with (what I believe) to be a very unique - maybe crazy fishery.

First thing first, huge shout out to Snipe for helping me out! He answered all my questions, helped me source fish, and helped with the actual stocking. Heck, he drove probably 6+ hours to hand deliver his amazing YP and drove 2 hours out of his way to grab additional fish from a hatchery. I offered to meet him somewhere in between the hatchery and my property...nope, Snipe brought everything to my pond, hand sorted, and helped me stock the BOW.

300 YP
100 RES
35 SMB
35 Walleye

If you get an opportunity to do business with Snipe...do it! Have a conversation...do it! Go out of your way to see his YP...do it! True ambassador for the hobby and a great wealth of knowledge willing to help everyone. Even answer ALL my dumb questions!

Snipe knows more about fish than the fish do about themselves.

Hey, Appreciate the kind words!
Was very nice getting the opportunity to meet you and see your place, quite beautiful if I may add.
Looking forward to reports as things progress.
The hand sorting and ID'ing 1 by 1 takes time, but as you seen first-hand we stopped a problem before it started by taking 2 LMB and a couple of GSF out of the mix.
Were those smallies toads or what!!?
Augie made it home about 3 hrs before I did and got his cage finished to start feed training YP so it'll be fun to follow that too.

Joey, I wish I knew that much but I find nearly every day there is something to pick up on every single time. I guess that's what I enjoy about it-always something new.

I haven't had the pleasure of meeting him in person, but can vouch for his knowledge and kindness via phone interaction. Absolutely a great guy that is willing to share his knowledge.

I am glad we are seeing more and more ponds that differ from the traditional LMB/BG pond. Provides a new subset of knowledge for all of us.
