I hear everyone talking about using gypsum, but cant find any where to buy this stuff. I know they have the pelletized at home depot, but read on this board not to use it. Only use the powered kind.

i now see you are in louisiana,i called a trucking company that hauls dirt and they got mine.i do know it comes off the miss. river.also i think i found the company in the yellow pages under limestone.

Home Depot sells powdered gypsum in 40 lb bags under the brand name Sof'n Soil.

If you can't find it any closer you can call 800/333-9154 (Henderson,Tx) Boatcycle Co. 50# bags $6.00 ( cheaper in large orders)
