I have private ponds and manage public ponds for research and demonstration at a land grant university. Most of my efforts involve bluegill, crappie and largemouth bass but also work with hybrid striped bass, rainbow trout, giant freshwater prawn, grass carp, blue suckers, and crayfishes legal for food production.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Welcome!
What species do you have in your own ponds? Or if building yourself a new pond, what would you put in it?
