I had a pond dug 2 years ago, wouldn't hold water. Had contractor come out dug a test hold right below where was stop was the clay. We dug it straight out and lifted the banks with the clay. Pond is steeper then excepted but the only way to try and fix it. It is now 18 ft deep.
