I was wondering if you have any thoughts as to which way is more efficient. I have a 1/2 acre 10/15' deep pond; two springs (100/150 gpm); plus 150 arce watershed with field tiles and two neighbors septic systems to deal with. I have chara on 80% of bottom and floating algea on 10% of the surface. Thanks in advance, Glen

Glen, Bio-enzymes will not due any good on your aquatic weeds. They only assist with nutrient reduction and your black muck, should you have any. I would suggest treating the Chara and surface algae with Cutrine Plus (liquid or granular). If you choose to use the liquid you must dilute it 9:1 with water. Any questions, you can email me.

Watergirl,
I thought the Microbe treatment would be a longer term solution to the problem. The cutrine will only last a short while. Would the bacteria not continously work to remove the stuff that makes the algae grow?
