I am thinking of putting netting around the part of my T shaped dock that is the top of the T forming a cage where I'll put FHM along with a spawning structure. I'm thinking this will create a perminant supply of minnows. I would keep spawners in and release others at scheduled times after spawns.
What do you think of the idea? Anyone try this already? Any ideas to add?

Hi Helgamity,
Nice to see you posting.
FWIW my FHM seem to prefer shallow water, less than 18 inches, for spawning. Another thing I would consider is that a "net" fine enough to contain FHM and the spawn would need to be very fine and may plug quickly with algae.
