Hello all,

I am new to the forum. I have a 25 year-old, 2 acre pond, 25 ft deep in middle, with a 36" stand-pipe right at the dam about 3 feet out, no valves. The stand-pipe is corrugated, and has an extension riser. It appears that over the winter, with all the heavy ice formed over the lake, my best guess is the weight of the ice pushed the extension down about 16-18". That obviously made the water level of the lake that much lower, which is obvious around the edges of the lake, as well as the dock and ladder. I have been searching for some type of water tight extension/gasket system that can be places onto or into the stand pipe to raise the water level back up. This would be significantly less expensive and easier than draining and repairing the entire stand-pipe system. Do they make water-tight corrugated pipe extensions? Possibly this could be a PVC type extension, just as long as the joint remains water tight. Thanks for any help or ideas.
