I caught this guy and a couple more just like him out of my pond with a cast net Saturday. Is this a fat head? It looks a little too thin to me.

I didn't think so either, but that's the only type minnow I (knowingly) put in there.

Looks like some sort of shiner to me...not sure what type, but doesn't look at all like a Golden Shiner.

Looks like some sort of bait fish, we used to use them regularly in upstate NY though I don't know what it is. Probably brought in by someone fishing you pond or it swam upstream to your pond.

Kinda resembles a "river shiner" or silver shiner...aka Arkansas river shiner

After looking at lots of pictures that would be my best guess.

They must be reproducing, because I didn't put them in, at least purposely.

I'm not sure how many I have, but it must be a good number because I threw some feed out to attract the fish and then threw a cast net one time just to see what I caught and I caught probably 20 CNBG and about four of whatever these are.
