I've got a half an acre pond stocked with CC and HBG. I've been feeding them everyday. I'm seeing a lot of CC eating but only a few HBG here and there. I'm afraid the CC are getting all the feed. How do I get feed to my HBG. Do I need to feed in different spots or make sure there is lots of feed on the water after the CC are done eating? Not sure what I need to be doing and any advice would be appreciated.

What size are the fish, both species, and how long have they been in the pond? What are you feeding them?

"Forget pounds and ounces, I'm figuring displacement!"

If we accept that: MBG(+)FGSF(=)HBG(F1)
And we surmise that: BG(>)HBG(F1) while GSF(<)HBG(F1)
Would it hold true that: HBG(F1)(+)AM500(x)q.d.(=)1.5lbGRWT?
PB answer: It depends.

Catfish are about 6 or 7 inches. The brim were three or so inches when I stocked them. They were all stocked back in late february. I am feeding them a floating catfish feed.

What size are the pellets? Could they be too large for the HBG? I am a big believer in hydrating feed to try and acclimate fish to begin eating it regularly. Where are you feeding at, location wise? Have you tried feeding shallower water?
