I have drained most of my pond and am preparing to nuke it with hydrated lime. I would like to lime the pond bottom while it is down. Will the hydrated lime do the trick or do I need to just use the hydrated lime to kill and another form of lime for improving the bottom?

Hydrated to kill, regular agricultural lime long term.
