A little video I shot of our bluegills going to town last week at the club when the spawn was in full swing. Please no FA comments either...lol! It's been a real PIA to control this year. I sat and watched the antics for about an hour this particular night with a few cold ones. Bluegill Spawning 2014

Thanks guys. We've been busting our rears for over 3 years now and we are starting to see the results of our hard work turning the lake around, in good part to info and members on this forum I might add! Stopped out to rake out some FA on Friday and you can tell the majority of the spawning activity is now over for the gills.
FA is finally on it's downswing (thank god), just waiting for the bloom that is coming soon from the looks of it. We had what I would consider near perfect spawning conditions this year. Really looking forward to a good year class.
Saw a hog of largemouth(for our lake) actively on a bed Friday which made me smile. A real nice thick 20-22" fish with mate that wouldn't leave her side. Also saw the first school of baby GSH from the ones we stocked earlier this year. Nice to see some made it through to spawn.
