That's a pretty good growth rate for BG!
What are you feeding them?

It looks like you got some hybrid BG mixed in with your CNBG. The black or darker color is an indicator. Also the unusually fast growth rate is an indicator. Most(95 percent) will be sterile. They eat good though!

HBG are absolutely not sterile! Most studies claim 90-95% male bias on the F1's, however.
I don't see any HBG in that fish, I think it's just a darker CNBG.
"Forget pounds and ounces, I'm figuring displacement!"
If we accept that: MBG(+)FGSF(=)HBG(F1) And we surmise that: BG(>)HBG(F1) while GSF(<)HBG(F1) Would it hold true that: HBG(F1)(+)AM500(x)q.d.(=)1.5lbGRWT? PB answer: It depends.

Male CNBG. I see no HBG indicators.

All I see is a tremendously great looking CNBG with no signs of any GSF in it.

Hi Sparkplug, you are right! I used the wrong term with sterile. Yes the answer is F1 males @ a 90-95% rate. Sorry for the misinformation.
