I posted a long time ago about my non feeding stripers. They were stocked in Fall 03 and now in early summer 05 they started eating. A week ago I had one taker. Now there seems to be a whole bunch of them eating. I can only wonder why after all this time they decided to start. Anyway, they look like they have been eating something because they are now over a foot long (stocked at 5"). Man when they decide to eat they are aggressive too.
The moral of the story is (I guess) Keep throwing the feed and eventually they'll find it.

That is good to know. I will be stocking soon. It sure is fun to watch the BG eat feed -- I can't imagine HSB.

I pen fed my HSB for only 2 weeks before turning them loose. I got lucky and they come back to the area where the pen was to feed. They are a lot of fun to watch as they slam the feed off the top of the water. They are by far the fastest swimmers and most agressive feeders I have in the pond.
