Came across this in my never-ending search for a bigger, better property. A bit over-priced, but you've got plenty of ponds to experiment with! http://www.landsofamerica.com/america/index.cfm?Detail=&INV_ID=71145

It does seem a little pricey now, but it won't be forever. Eight ponds sounds like a lot of work. Maybe if I were retired, single,....
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Location, location, location.
At that price, it'd be a steal up here.

BCM, I graduated high school just up the road from the Devils river and this ranch, It is indeed a awesome piece of the lone star state. The Devils river is the most untouched natural water in this state. There are very view places the public has excess to the water. It's path is almost all on extremely large private ranches. It is spring fed and runs entirely on limestone bottom the water is clear and blue always. I'm really surprised some wealthy person has not purchased this one of a kind place on earth. It's been on the market for a while.

Beautiful looking place.
Let's see asking price $29,870,610. With 20% down payment of $5,974,122 that would leave a mortgage of $23,896,488. At say 6% interest financed over 30 years the monthly payment would be $143,272.
Ok, I'm out.

darn I misssed that one. I looked at the 40 acre add. Buy it as a co-op every one gets 10 acres. In todays economy who could buy the whole enchilada?
