I have been managing a pond with reasonable success for a couple years now with one exception, hybrid stripers. I bought them with the assurance that they "readily take to commercial feed". I have not found this to be the case. My method is to feed purina game fish chow in the same location every evening approx. one hour prior to darkness when water is above 55 degrees. I also stock fatheads semi-annually. The few stripers I have caught exhibit reasonably good growth, but I have yet to see one feed. Any suggestions or similar experiences with insight would be appreciated greatly.

out of 50 i put in , i see only a couple eating feed , in morning and evening. they all have good growth when caught. i also stocked golden shinners and emerald. i had great spawn in late spring , huge schools. maybe their chowing on them now. as long as their growing , i wouldn't worry about it.
i only wanted to have some fun
