I have a Stren ADF 70, with the control unit on the outside in a black box. We have had some wicked rain storms lately and the storage box has had a build up of water in the bottom. I usually keep the programmer in the bottom of the box and needless to say it got a little wet. A few days ago I put in a new bag of feed and the unit just fired up and started spitting out feed after I dumped it in. It kept going and going and would not stop. Finally I had to disconect the battery. I thought I would let it set for a day and let the computer start all over. Well the next few days the same result, when I hook it up to the battery, it just starts spitting feed and the computer will not be on. Is this a short somewhere or do I need a new programmer. Is it under warranty (less than a year old)? Thanks in advance for the help.

That is a gray area. It got wet, but was that your fault? I bet if you called and asked to speak with Brandon or Ron they will send you out a new timer at no cost. Stren Aquapro feeders in my opinion have the best customer service around. THey have a 4yr warranty and back it up. 800-847-8269

Thanks Greg, I did call and they were going to fix or replace it for me. When I went out to take off the unit, I tried it one last time and the dang thing worked just fine. I figure the moisture must have freaked out the computer until it dried out. I love problems that fix themselves!!!! Your right about the quality of the feeder, truely a first rate machine.
