I cannot agree more. I have never met this "most interesting man in the world" but without a second thought Cecil chimed in on my trout put and take RBT plan last year just one year into our new construction. We are within a close geographic range and so I could have wished for a better bit of advise. With proper aeration and a plan to move the same to the shallows before ice over I introduced our RBT to a 1/10th acre pond lined from corner to corner with fat heads. All on his advice.
The first three weeks or so were uneventful on my end as the trout had an all you can eat ticket to the fathead buffet. We are now in our 8th month of the RBT invasion and planning our "take" part of the plan with a party focused on kids and grandkids getting a pole and having a blast in three weeks. These babies are crazy aggressive and let me tell you I have flown thousands of miles over several distant pockets of land on our big blue marble in pursuit of smaller natural river run salmonoids. This is going to be a great year. I have several over three pounds maybe more!
A good one you got there in Mr. Baird for sure. Thank you Cecil.

Some river near Goble's Michigan where the supplier is located. Assuming those were from Laggis - I would guess either the Kalamazoo or Grand rivers.
