Hello all, been awhile but I'm back on...I am in the process of building a sea wall on part of my pond and was wondering what flowers would do best by that wall. Either something that would grow in front of it or I could put it right behind the wall (still very wet area). Hoping for something to bloom and look pretty....ideas?? I heard both Iris and something called a Cardinal flower-anyone have experience with those?? If not I was going to try and plant some type of rose and hope the branches would just hang on the seawall (5 x 8 treated posts)
Thanks!

Do you have a picture of the area you are planting? That would help me give you some ideas...

Day lilies, some type of iris (not all) and cardinal flowers will all do great with wet feet. There are others as well, look up bog plants on garden sites for more ideas.
