I put ez-20 bucket fertilizer in pond yesterday, akilinity is 100ppm water temp was 63. About 3 days ago I noticed a brownish/stringy/green algae in the pond. It seemed to be attached to leaves mostly that floated up. Now I am wondering if I should take bucket out or what chemicals I could use and method without killing off the bloom. My visility was 6ft a few days ago. Pond size is 1/2 acrer and approx 10ft deep, and has 1/4 gast rotary vane with 2 diffusers that run 1hour every 4 hours for now. JUST TRYING TO DO THE RIGHT THINGS.
