Mine are more habitat, less chemicals, a grow out pond, catching a plate sized CNBG on my own flies, and finding a perfect $300 fish feeder. The last one may be the hardest to do.
I plan on planting the steep dam on my new pond and stocking forage fish (FHM, BHM, & GSH) for future SMB stocking. My big project will be installing miles of barbed wire fence around new property that I purchased adjacent to mine, and clearing paths and intalling culverts so that I can maintain them with my tractor. I woul also like to intall a fixed dock if the water level gets low enough (which I hope never happens).
Main goal this year is to finish clearing my property and starting house/building construction.
On a sad note, I just read a text that Milton, a neighbor down the road, and who was to be an integral part of my construction plans, passed away shortly after midnight this morning
We built a cabin a few years ago using wood stud framing and log siding. Saved huge on this by not purchasing a log package. Here's a couple pics. It 24X24.

Beautiful!

If we accept that: MBG(+)FGSF(=)HBG(F1) And we surmise that: BG(>)HBG(F1) while GSF(<)HBG(F1) Would it hold true that: HBG(F1)(+)AM500(x)q.d.(=)1.5lbGRWT? PB answer: It depends.
I'm looking to set up a fish tank and stock it with fish from my pond for the home to observe them a little more.I also am going to look into a outdoor grow out setup for my striped bass project.
My experiment for this year is to take out most of the lilies and see if the tadpoles and golden shiners can control control FA mostly on their own, and in the 100 degree weather we are likely to have.
Spinnerbait you have a really nice cabin and out buildings.
As I learned the hard way and put the cart before the horse, my project will be establishng an adeqaute forage base for the LMB and HSB.
I shut down the last diffuser last week for a full freeze-over (for ice fishing as I have a few 4 lb LMB that need removed/fried up) and if I end up with another fish-kill it wouldn't be all bad, costly maybe but not all bad so I'm not chasing my tail constantly adding forage.
Thanks to PB, after just 8 months this old and neglected 2 acre pond is now weed and FA free (at this point), aerated, looking great, and ready for a good stocking plan.
