I know everyone here likes pictures so here are a few of my cnbg, res stocking.

I told ya'll I would update on my progess. I have a .25 acre pond. I decided to put 200 cnbg and 50 res. Bass will come later. I guess the old tried and true. It ought to fun to try and manage it. I was in Dallas for 5 days for work and stopped by Todd Overton's to pick up the fish on my way home. I can't say enough about Todd and his people. They were a big help. After a 6 hour trip with the fish inside my truck all was well. I lost only one cnbg and one res out of the whole lot. I arrived to the pond to see it coverd with pond scum or FA. When I left for Dallas the water was very nice. I had no choice but to put the fish in but was very concerned

Those are great looking fish, Beau. Result of much blood, sweat, and tears.

Try hydrated lime for filamentous algae control. Ewest told me about the use of hydrated lime over a year ago, and we use it all the time.

It is messy but will improve water quality as well. Just spread it on algae mats at a rate of about 50 lbs per 1000 sq ft of filamentous algae. Wear eye protection and a dust mask, and use the wind if possible to keep the dust from blowing back to you.

It's ALL about the fish!

Much appreciated, they really are good looking specimens with the vertical bars on their sides, yellow tails and purple hue. I'm anticipating alot of fun with these guys. Thanks for the tip on the algae control. The fish adjusted and are feeding well.
