2 acre pond new pond (filled Jan 2005)-- stocked 2 inch BG and fatheads last spring 2005 -- BG built nests -- don't know if spawned -- looked like it. Feed and aeriated all last summer -- BG look like miniture footballs with some up to 4.5 inches long in fall.
Is is too early in the year to stock LMB and CC in early March in Southern IN (stocking 8-10 inch of both)?

I would wait until spring springs. Easier to handle fish at that time. Contact your supplier and see what their recommendations are.
Teach a man to grow fish...

Thanks Bob, I don’t get to visit the site like I used to, but this site, the magazine and your books have been an invaluable resource. You and the folks here always come through for the novice pond owner like me. I fall all over myself saying thanks, but it is so important that I don't go running off half cocked making errors on such a big investment (pond and fish) -- THANKS!
