I recently purchased land with a 2 acre and 1 acre spring fed ponds. The ponds have blue gill and bass in them. The last of the fish trucks were making a stop in the area so I bought 100 3-5 inch channel cats and put them into the 2 acre pond. Do you think any will survive or are they forage?

Most likely forage. You need to buy and stock 8 to 10 inch cats if there are bass present.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Some of it depends on the structure of the bass community. Size range, numbers, etc. Then comes cover for the CC to hide in...
