I was wondering if Bob could add Perfect Pond... Want One? to Amazon. I tried checking out on the PondBoss.com the other day, but it wouldn't let me. It kept giving me an error. I think the book could reach a wider audience if it was available on such a massive network. Most of the other pond building books are on there. I saw there is this link - http://www.amazon.com/Perfect-Pond-want-One/dp/0979323800/ref=reg_hu-rd_add_1_dp on amazon to purchase the book but none are listed for sale. I almost always have money in my Amazon account and would love to be able to use that for the purchase.

Just a thought!

How about calling Pond Boss magazine and charging it to a credit card? Or sending a check. The book is worth the effort.

Another thing to keep in mind is Amazon gets a really hefty percentage of each book sale. Not always enticing for a writer.

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

It's a trade off.

Amazon gets a 6 to 15% commission (I think the commission on books is 15%), a $1.20 closing fee for books and a $0.99 transaction fee (waived for Pro Merchants). So for a $26.95 book Amazon would get somewhere around $6.24 per book sold.

But a much larger potential market could be reached.

I've ordered my books buy just picking up the phone and calling the world headquarters. It's simple, painless, and as an added bonus you get to talk to a real live Texan. laugh

I know it's almost always about the money, but I also think it could hit a larger audience. I'll give them a call if I still can't get my order to go through.
