Last week I observed that my BG were not feeding agressively.I also noted that 20 or 30 grass carp had moved in and their presence apparantly pushed the BG to take second place when feeding time began.Any suggestions other than harvesting the grass carp?Pond is 8.7 ac.water temp is 60 degrees and 60 grass carp were stocked 3 years ago.Any suggestions will be appreciated!

GC are the most fun fly rod fisn you can have in your pond! If they are eating your pellets they are easy to catch with PH pellet flies. Release them and they will never eat another pellet! They are smart critters and will never bite anything again with a string attached!!!

I use AQMAX 600 pellet encased in light brown panty hose. Strecth a patch of panty hose around fish food pellet and tie off with thread or small diameter mono - secure with a few half hitches and clip off at tit - Run hook of your choice through tit and you are good to go... If you have a fly tyer thread bobbin it makes it alot easier - I use "Flymaster" brown thread. You can tie up a dozen in few minutes and they work magic on all feed trained fish- ask Cecil - he's the PH pellet fly guy ... Good luck, George

My grass carp ate floating food when I first started using the feeder, then they just quit showing up. Not sure why.
