I have a 1.5 acre pond that is being managing for trophy bass. The watershed is inadequate so I supplement the inflow with well water. The pond was constructed 2.5 years ago, and I have 1.5 years of growth on the fingerling Florida F1's. I stocked FHM, BG, and RES 6 months prior to the bass. I have supplementally stocked FHM and GS twice. Once back in the spring, and again two weeks ago. I also feed mechanically with aquamax. I caught 6 bass last Saturday morning ranging from 14"/ 1.5 lbs to 17" / 3lbs. They seem to be progressing really well. The well water is oxygenated through a system of cinderblocks and rocks. Should I aerate additionally also? Advice appreciated.
