looking to build several concrete low water dams / crossing on a creek on our ranch is west Texas . Dams / crossing would be 3-4 ft high and would be designed with sloping sides so in heavy rains water can flow over . Looking for pictures to use as examples to discuss with concrete contractors

I don't know of many people that have done that, but where at Big Cedar, where the conference was, there were a number of water crossings like that where a man-made stream flowed. I believe they used textured concrete where the water flowed - maybe stamped concrete? I think it helped keep that wet area a bit less slippery than moss covered smooth concrete would be.
