I'm feeding a little bit every night and seeing some good activity, I suspect my water has warmed up enough that all spawning is done. Add to that I cleaned 11 fish last weekend and found no evidence of eggs or milt. Also I took a bit of egg ribbon and hatched a few larvae in a glass gallon jug on the kitchen counter, very cool. The water got a bit cloudy after a couple days and the larvae were so small I'd no idea how to change it, so I released them.

I have a very good grass turf around them though. How old is your pond, and perhaps it has not been there long enough for a good thick turf to develop? If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

We rec'd three inches though so I am not too concerned about a little cloudiness after that much rain. I should be able to look around some more this afternoon
