What is the depth of that pond? Are you stocking fish in it? Maybe consider single species fish where you will not have population problems.

Appears to be a tad on the small side. Doubtful it would support anything but a small population without developing water quality problems. ....Aeration?

Beautiful setting, Colonel! Really like how you did it. Could be a fun place to raise some select fish as has been suggested already. Keep us posted with pics as you get landscaping and all that sort of stuff finished.

You could but it would soon be a disaster. Those things grow, defacate and spawn. That guy is selling fish.

I think I would put about a dozen to twenty hybrid bluegill and 4 or 5 channel cats in. Aerate and feed Purina Game Fish Chow. You'll have a lot of fun without worrying when disaster will strike in the form of a dissolved oxygen crash.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
