I just got my computer back after getting it all updated. Now i have to sign in everytime even if i check the 'remember me" or whatever it says box.. Is this something new with the site being redone? Or is it something new with my computer (which is what i suspect). Anyways can someone tell me how to fix it im running windows 7.. Thanks

Check and see if your internet preferences allows for it to remember passwords. Sometimes when update these are set at default modes.

It will be browser settings. Your browser should allow you to save your login information. I have Ccleaner wipe my computer every time it starts up, but it will not wipe my login information in Google Chrome. If I use Firefox, I have to re-type this information.

Josh and/or JKB; How do I do that? Bring it down to the stupid level please.
I'm having the same problem.

I'm having the same problem. I use Google Chrome most of the time as a browser. You can set up to eight pages of frequently visited sites. Google Chrome will remember your log in and password. If I want to log into PB I just click the log in button and dont have to type anything. It will keep you logged in until you turn your computer off, or you log out. I cant remember my PB password, or a number of other passwords, but I never have to type them in. I do have them written down. I can stay logged into a number of sites, even if I close them out. I only ever have to log in when I turn my computer on, but that is just by clicking the login button. Google Chrome is OK as a general web browser, but dont use it for anything sensitive like online banking, or using credit cards. It has glitches and you will not want to deal with the potential problems. The other thing, is if you have it set up like this, anyone using your computer can log into these accounts without knowing your login and password.

It's a whole lot easier to just click "remember me" when you log in to the forum. You'll only need to log in if you clear the cookies cache.

That doesn't work for me. I still have to log in. I'll try it in Firefox and see if it works. I dont use IE.
EDIT: It works in Firefox that way. But I run a cleaner on start up and the log in info. is cleared. The way GC is set up, it saves the info, even if I run the cleaner.

I'm also having a problem since new site came up - I have to search for pondboss and then enter via the cache site. If I enter in www.pondboss.com the old site appears and when I try to go to the forum this appears: Content Encoding Error (content_encoding_error) Server response could not be decoded using encoding type returned by server. This is typically caused by a Web Site presenting a content encoding header of one type, and then encoding the data differently. For assistance, contact your network support team. What should I do? thanks
