Dang Chi Got to get up pretty early in the mornin to pull one over on you! It's apparent to me you have already figured out out sinister motive here at PB...to quietly pose as a pond lovers site while waiting to take advantage of unsuspecting 30x60 pond owners by selling them CC and getting rich! Just kiddin actually in a pond that size all you need to do is put 2-3 breeder boxes in the pond then catch a handful of your favorite bullheads and put in there and walaw, you might want to see if the lunchroom will let you have a little of the bread that they are about to throw out every day to fatten umup a little! Good Luck

Hey Chi(ef) I'm not sure if your serious or joking...if your joking you're good at it ...if your serious then God bless you and my advise would be to get out of Calli immediatly

Chi, what part (N, S. E or W) of San Bernardino are you? Some of the ponds down South around Oceanside had populations of bullheads.

I'm up by the San Francisco Bay Area. The way gas prices are going I think I am better off just buying them.

Nothing. Seriously it sucks around here. I have 80 bucks burning a hole in my pocket. All I need are fry. Not even fingerlings.

That might not even cover shipping (next day air). I'd keep looking at the local park ponds. The fish there might be tiny, but they'd be a start for ya. Cal. is going to be hard to source fish because of all the regs that the state put in place on fish suppliers.

I used to live in Oceanside. Buena Vista Park pond had tons of BH in them, but they weren't any larger than 4"-5". Toss in a slice of bread and it was a race between the ducks and the BH.

Hey, any freshwater ponds at the parks where they feed ducks? Check there maybe.

I have to agree with BGK on this one. For someone who wants some Bullheads so bad I'm confused, surely if you want to put them in the school pond your goal must be to enjoy the pleasure of catching them first and then the eating as you've already stated you Love the taste of Bullheads. Why in the world are you so bent over backwards and sideways to BUY some fry?? For the love of God man just go fishing, if in fact you don't like to fish...just find a restuarant and order a plate.

Can't a guy just want some bullheads? Sheeeeeeeeeesh. If you haven't read my previous post. I have tried fishing around here. There aren't any small bullheads.

And it costs a lil more than $80 just to start my truck :P

No worries. I'm just trying to get my aquaponics project online. And bullheads are what I'm looking for. If I get channel cats they will go in the school pond.
