I posted about aerating my pond over the winter and BC posted to find the amps and then call him. I did and he stopped eating lunch to look up and figure what the costs would be. We must have talked for 20 mins and he never rushed or acted like it was any bother. I just want to publicly thank him and encourage all who can to use his services and supplies. He never acknowledges that he is in fact in business. He has a variety of products and a wealth of knowledge (which he always is willing to share for free). I hope this post is within the guidelines and it should be because it's not at Bills urging or request, just a way for me to show my appreciation. I'm SURE there are dozens of fellow pondmiesters that he has helped either directly and/or inderectly . THANK YOU Dr Perca!!!!!!

There are few people of Bill Cody's calibre in this world.....Fortunately, most of those people frequent Pond Boss!

It is the selflessness (gr?? sp??) and attitude of so many Pond Boss greats like Bill Cody who keep this site such a wonderful place to visit, make friends, and get expert advice.

I frequently think of all the priceless advice I've gotten, and all the wonderful friends my wife and I have made here. I was welcomed after my very first post years ago. After about my third post, I felt like everybody knew my name. I don't want to name names, because I might miss somebody. But, Bill Cody was one of the first to greet me here and at the first convention, the 2nd convention, and the 3rd convention. He was actually one of many. Pond Boss is better than spending time at "Cheers."

Quote:

Theme from Cheers:

Be glad there's one place in the world
Where everybody knows your name,
And they're always glad you came;
You want to go where people know,
People are all the same;
You want to go where everybody knows your name.

I hope that all new members can feel this same way. If not, please let us know.

Bill who? smirk grin

Just kidding of course. Yep Bill is my mentor! He and I will both attend a seminar together in Bowling Green, Ohio on producing natural feeds for yellow perch fry on December 4th. I look forward to it.

Guys don't 'spread it on' too thick. Always glad to help out pond owners to keep their pond in good shape and their fishery doing well.

Agree with all

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
