Went on a short trip to Lake Champlain NY and caught this beauty. 4 lbs 10 ounces....and that is a small one on that lake. What a fishery!!!!

purdy purdy purdy..... that lake has a growing reputation out west here, several pros have shot TV shows on the smb fishery there. be fun to fish it sometime....

Guys....The lodge I stayed at had picture after picture of guests holding 5 and 6 lb smallies taken from Lake Champlain. Fishing is said to be best in the spring and fall so unfortunately it is really cold, and "tube" fishing was new to me,but I caught on quick and had a blast!My buddy and I caught 12 smallies , all over 3 lbs, and the other group that came with us caught 30 fish! Crazy.
