Great looking surroundings! I love the way the hills slope down so quickly there - looks like you dammed up a little valley. Very picturesque!

Wow. Is the spillway at the "point" in the picture? And how big in surface acreage is it again? Do you have pics from any other angles? Again, great looking place!

Got it now that I've seen that other pic. How far down does the grade drop off when you get past the dam? If the water's around 40 feet deep, I'm guessing that there is a pretty steep drop below.

It is not to bad I am going to put a garden there so I can irrigate it. It is backing up about 3 acres now. I plan to build it on up about 10-15 more feet since it is holding like a jug. I plan to put trout and small mouth bass next year. the water is very cold from the spring. Thanks for the help

I'm not sure your climate would support peacock bass as I think they require much warmer - consistently warmer year round - temps than you probably have where you are. I may be wrong, but believe that this is correct. Experts?

Todd, I'm pretty sure you're right. It'd be seasonal stocking just for the warmest months like Tilapia.

Would you be able to get much/any growth out of a peacock bass in a single growing season? Are they at all like tilapia in terms of pretty quick growth with sufficient forage?
