This fish was shocked up in Tennessee last October. 16 lbs 15 ounces. I always figured the 14 lb 8 ounce mark could be broken, but this thing, this time of year, could very well be over 18 lbs? You experts, just how big could this one be right now? 18lbs? 19lbs? That's Lake Fork Texas state record big. Wow. Good job Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency. Keep on managing for monsters. The lake in question has produced 13lb northern strain bass in the past. It was drained about 10 or 15 years ago, supposedly because it was overrun with Gizzard Shad. I think they may have wanted to experiment with the Floridas and F1's if the truth were known and killed it out to start from scratch. Here is a link. You folks with 10 or more acre lakes in the south, you have something to shoot for. I think the lake in question is between 100 to 200 acres, if memory serves. It also produced the state record crappie. http://www.thebassholes.com/news.php?item.211.12http://www.commercialappeal.com/news/2009/nov/22/record-lunker-lurks-at-browns-creek-lake/PS,I duly noted that the World Record bass thread was, for all intents and purposes, killed by some of you folks hurling what some moderators thought might be perceived as racial slurs towards Asians, specifically the Japanese, who finished off owning America in every single category, after setting the world record bass record. Who would have known a trolled bluegill would have been the death nail or dagger in the heart to the waining American supremacy. From the strongest military industrial machine that the world has ever seen, and perhaps, will ever see, we have fallen from our lofty height of enforcing "Unconditional Surrender" upon the Japanese island nation to second place largemouth bass holder. We have fallen behind the same people we had enforced our will upon by nuclear means, to second place holder of the record of largest sunfish in just a few decades. It's pretty sad actually To add insult to injury, the legions of Japanese people who read Pond Boss were offended and likely have withdrawn yen from buying fathead minnows, gizzard shad, bullfrogs, jumbo bigcats and farm grown organic fertilizer from PondBoss advertising suppliers. Outside our micro world of the United States Pond Economy, the macroeconomy in the United States has felt the blow as well. The Japenese have promised to quit importing Dodge Neons, therby delivering a the final crushing apocolyptic blow to hard working UAW Chrysler autoworkers. With all of this being said, please bear this in mind and know that hillbilly slurs, redneck jokes and marrying your kin fodder towards Tennesseans is no longer socially acceptable, and is, in fact, now politically incorrect. Don't kill this thread by hurling insults and or offensive jokes at the Tennesseans who can actually read and might happen upon our favorite forum. We might not trade used tires, hogs and collard greens with your state anymore. And if that isn't enough to scare you from said jokes, remember our second biggest export, behind weed, is Jack, and moonshine doesn't follow too far behind either. Just didn't want this thread to die faster than a Federal agent in Possum Holler.

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

Oh I thought it was an 'l'. If it was an 'l' it could also mean Post looped.

Nice, Robinson. You didn't even have any obvious grammatical mistakes, either. Next week's fresh Copenhagen arrives on Tuesday so you're gong to need to wake up early to beat the old ladies.
