My mom raised 3 of us boys with all our friends, this is tame compared to what she has been through.
Still too cold for the video glasses. They say 23 degrees minimum.

I used to prefer camping in winter. Used to be into the survival stuff - still am a bit; but marriage and older age really slowed that down. Lowest we camped out was -6 F without a fire or tent. Just a tarp stretched between two trees a good sleeping mat and sleeping bag. Wasn't bad. Cold weather beats the croaking frogs and mosquitoes of summer. I hate mummy style sleeping bags though as they cramp my tendacy to sprawl out. Getting out of a warm sleeping bag to put on cold clothes or to start a fire in the morning wasn't a lot of fun. I also learned to put the water bottle in the sleeping bag if I wanted to be able to drink the next morning (otherwise frozen).
