You know there are ways to convince them it's not a serene safe place to stay. \:\/

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

You should make them leave if you like your fish.

How in the dickens did you break both feet?

We were putting up a steel building and had about a ton of s-pearling on a forklift. I was standing to close to the end and it fell off, the other end was already close to the ground the end I was on hit me right below my belt and smashed me to the ground in a squat position. imagine if you were squatting to set something heavy down you hold it right there. now imagine about a ton on top of your thighs making your heels touch rear and toes touch shins. \:o it tickled a litte.

I can't even imagine 2 broken feet. The longest 6 months of my life was after shoulder surgery.

I'm about 2 1/2 months into that post shoulder surgery period myself, Dave, and I know EXACTLY what you are talkig about! It's getting better, but man, what a challenge. Though, as you inferred, at least I can walk around while I rehab!

Wrangler, hope things go well for you! And as quick as possible!

Wrangler, I had a guy at work have almost the same thing happen to him with a coil of steel, except it ended up being a compound leg fracture. I can't imagine how I'd cope with two broken feet!

I just found out that my friend in Texas is having a knee replaced on 1-27 and after that, shoulder surgery. I think he'll be in for a rough year in 2010!

Todd, when the Surgeon finally released me to get on with my life, he said for me not to do anything real stupid to the shoulder for a year. Be careful, even after everything seems to be OK. I know a guy that had to have his redone. He didn't buy into the program.

I think one of my happiest days was when the pillow came out from under my arm and I could take a real shower.

I know what you mean about showers I have a great wife to help me. We rigged up a 5 gal bucket in a stand shower with a drop down head, its quite a chore but nothing beat that runnin water after sponge baths for 2 weeks!

Thank you all for the kind words and encouragement. \:\)
