Friend has a small pond 2ft by 1o ft and 3 ft deep is this ok for trout or what would u reccomend

There are so many variables to this... Could it be OK for trout, yes but I would say far from ideal. In all likelihood, trout would not survive in a pond that small unless it had a lot of cold water from an outside source coming into it. 3 ft is very shallow as well. If freezing is an issue you face winter kill and that shallow a water means a very high risk of avian and land predation...

Are you planing to go fishing in that pond????????????? the pond is about 2 feet shorter then my favorit fishing rod. You are kidding, arnt you?

Bentrout, I guess your weather is tempered by the pacific there and from what I remember from being at FT. Lewis the winters are mild, so the 3ft depth might be sufficient but atleast put an aerator in if he has trout. As CJ said it's far from ideal.
