My friend has a 2 foot by 10 foot rectangular pond in his backyard and he was wondering if a 6 millimeter thick polyethelyn pond liner would work. Will this liner work?

I don't see why not... It this just for visual appeal or will he also be putting fish in it?

Just make sure the bottom and sides are real smooth - no rocks sticking out.
Just do it...
