I caught one today in my pond for the first time. he looked just like that one so I put him in my aquarium.

Warmouth are cool aquarium fish. They are at their prettiest when they are spawning. The males turn almost jet black with orangish highlights.

The ones that I've caught seem to have a lot of purple on them.
