This year I am experiencing submerged grass problem around the edges of my 4.5 acre pond. Last year it was primrose which was cleaned up using Shore-Klear. Not sure what this weed is but it is long and stringy. I believe the spawning of the fish and the treatment of small amounts of Copper Sulfate for FA has worked against me and has cleared the shallow bottom and now I have grass.

What is the chemical of choice for submerged grasses for outflow BOW? I do have grass carp but I believe they are older and definitely not keeping up with the growth. I do have outflow so I want to be careful in what I combat this with. I have been told about Karmex but have decided not to use since it is not for outflow ponds and where trees are near.

This grass has encircled around all the shallow areas so I have to be careful not to kill to much at a time to absorb the oxygen. I have tried the blue dye only to watch it spill out of the overflow pipes during the heavy rains.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Wyatt
