masterbasser, I don't think anyone does. Others will provide more details than I can.

In my opinion, we are just moving past the LMB and BG thinking and into other "gamefish". We haven't moved into recognizing the value of and use of "non-game species".

We had a thread (maybe some can find it for masterbasser) that mentioned a club for people that like to fish for gar and bowfin. Common carp are considered the number one freshwater game fish in the world but few people appreciate them in this country.

Someone I believe in Minnesota is raising them for their "caviar." No kidding! Not just sturgeon and paddlefish! Sorry no links but maybe if you do a google search.

Here's an interesting link I found really quick:

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

Well, I'll admit I've seen someone try to clean one of them things...it wasn't pretty. They tend to slime up REAL bad, and it won't quit. Far as fighting goes, they're awful feisty, however, they're major predators, so if you don't mind competition with your CC, LMB or Eyes, go for it.
