I would love to get some huge 8-10 inch golden shiners for my pond. This way the Bass would have a hard time eating them and they would help me have a continuous population. Any ideas?

All of my local guys that I have checked don't have any real big ones. Maybe 4-6 inchs. That is candy for the Bass in my pond. i'll check with Anderson cause I know they ship.

How about raising some in a cage or a small breeder pond? I am sure I will end up digging a .1 acre breeder pond in the near future.

Alpine ships via air cargo. That would be a good deal if you live near an airport but if not then you'd have to weigh it against gas expenses.

Do you have contact info for alpine? I only live a half hour from the airport.
