I got tired of the Groundhog that lives near the dam on my new pond ducking into the drain pipe to keep me from getting a shot at him. Fish Wife pointed out that the pitchfork I broke last year resembled a dedicated varmint guard, so I added a little hardware to let it hang hinged on the end of the pipe. Now, to give Mr. Groundhog Excedrin Headache Number 357 ...

Good work! Maybe you should have it chromed?

We have woodchucks (groundhogs), but since there is no dam, we just leave them alone.

A dandy piece of engineering; great supervision also.

What size is that pipe?

I believe I would use a scoped rifle unless you are really good with a short gun. I see a ricochet coming with those rocks.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
