I bought some feed trained LMB's (6-8 inches) last May and they really loved the AQ LM feed. They gained weight over the summer and fall. Some are now almost 14 inches and slightly over 2 pounds.
The lake got muddy due to excessive runoff from new home building in Nov/Dec. And since then the bass have not come up to eat.
The question is did the muddy water really affect their eating or did the onset of winter really do it...or both?
Do most bass continue to eat pellets over the winter? Thanks for any insight.

I'm certainly not an expert, unc, but I suspect it was more the temperature than the mud.
My smallie pond has been filling over the last year; a good number of the bass take Aquamax 600 vigorously. There have been several storms that have temporarily muddied the water, with no significant reduction in feeding. The water has been very clear since October; the fish stopped taking pellets [at least that I could see] in the beginning of November. I'll bet they'll be right back at it when the water warms up a bit.
