You have a beautiful place. Thanks for showing us.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Great first post Mo. I like that winding road past the pond at the entrance to the property.

Wow, what an architectural landscape achievement. That is really something. It ties the entire homestead together. Nice job and an even greater job planning.

Sorry guys (and gals),

I was registered a few years back as Lynn Moser. I forgot my user name(duh!) and password. So just did a re-membership and here I am. C.B. helped out a bunch with those pretty striped girls. We have had a few fish frys, but still packing 150+ of those fat yella bellies. My Smallmouth experiment didn't work very well as they have slimmed down and pretty much stunted. The L.M. Bass Seem to have taken on the shape of the S.M. They are 3#-3.75# and look like footballs(30 stocked). i put in 12 channel cat and have begun culling them as they have reached 10# since the early summer of "05 (4"-5" stocked size) The bluegill/sunfish I transplanted fron my good friends pond have done well and are 7" to 10" class (they were stunted in his old overgrown muck filled pond)All in all I must thank Pondboss and their great membership for my much enjoyed pond meister success. I probably haven't done it all by the book. And perhaps might have done better. but am very proud of the results. And Bing, That winding "entrance" to my property is actually .35 miles from the road! I am only 160 yards from the middle of an 1 mile x 1.5 mile section.

Thanks for the kudos, it's my favorite place in the whole world. My poor wife has only been on vacation 1 time (2 days at Niagra falls) since we moved in here 5 years ago. She kind of feels the same as me about the place. We just can't wait to get home from work everyday!
