Really a fantastic field trip....

I want to thank Frank and Chris for their hospitality and sharing their ponds with us, and for Lusk tying all the pieces together in the most informative session I have ever attended.

I learned more Saturday than ALL previous conferences put together, and the fellowship with a bunch of great guys made a memorable occasion.

OK Chris, give a FULL report with pictures so you can share and make everyone jealous for not attending.
George

I'm already jealous and I haven't seen any photos yet.

Thanks Frank and Chris for having us out at you places. I learned a lot about fish and what a pond should have for stucture. It really helped me solidify the plans I have for my pond.

Really an enjoyable day.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Dave, I couldn't have said it any better! It was a tremendous treat getting to meet all of the fine folks that attended our meeting. It was a real pleasure to be able to put faces with names. I'm thinking it will be a while before I realize all the knowledge and experience we had available and in attendance for the meeting. Everyone there were really great folks (In spite of what Brettski might lead you to believe \:\) )and welcome to visit again any time. I can only imagine what a great time will be had at the conference in September when many more Pond Bossers will have the opportunity to gather. Thank you all for a great day!

Frank

PS - Special thanks to Lovelace Lakes for the armadillo catching demonstration. That alone was worth the price of admission!

Ha ha. That alone bought my supper. Thank Bob. I had a great time at the meeting, getting to meet everyone and hear all the stories was a blast. I really enjoyed looking at the different pond and hear what everyone thought about what should be changed and what not to change. The fellowship was great and i would advise everyone to come to your local pond boss get together. Its amazing how much knowledge there is to pick up at these things. To Frank and Chris i hope all goes well with yalls pond and i ask that you keep us updated on them.

I am glad everyone had a good time. It was great to be able to visit with everybody. Yesterday my dad and I finished the framing dock. The only thing we have left to do is the decking.

Frank,

I saw some cormorants on the ponds near the mulch plant. You may want to get that permit after you stock your fish.

Thanks for the heads up Chris. I'll have the permit BEFORE the fish go in!
